“Being from out of town and trying to get my bearings in a new place, it was so comforting that Jen said she would continue my prescriptions from my previous doctor (I was surprised it was the provider herself answering the phones at the front desk) In spite of most places around here, it seemed like she was willing to continue my treatment plan that had been set in place for years. This is a lie to get you through the door. Which can happen same day, at almost any given time as she always seems to have had "a patient just cancel" or "a spot just open up" moments before your call. Up front she seemed so pleasant, but I suspect that may be due to the homeopathic remedies she will begin to immediately push on you upon sitting down. Its the same song and dance most other Dr's who are afraid of losing their license are spewing, maybe they're all regurgitating the same reading material, not sure but it sounds something along the lines of "this was not made for long term use" and heavily leaning on the word "alternatives". Yeah, alternatives to the only solution most of us who have ran through every SSRI in the book have tried, which for her is getting your medical card im assuming. Before you know it youll have a pamphlet from Muv with strain recommendations circled and highlighted in your hands and she'll have already scheduled your next months appointment even if you tell her not to. The real kicker here is that if you try to ignore her completely and make it clear you have no intentions of coming back again, you will be charged the full amount of a follow up which you didn't want set in the first place. Seeing as how open the availability is here though, I don't think she could refund me if she wanted to. I believe white sands is the name of a therapist clinic around here and they have more than done their part in helping refer me out to the proper medical care needed. I still am really enjoying the city in spite of this awful experience but I do feel its my responsibility to warn others seeking help in a similar situation. Good luck to all.”
