“If you want your loved one to die send them here. Had to advocate for self harder than any other place ive been to. The one in charge of meds told me in reference to my benzo " I don't believe in the use of those" refusing my medication. Not only are withdrawals lethal, making a decision in minutes of meeting me vs years of medical care is highly unprofessional and insulting. I will be filing an official complaint as this head nurse will kill people who genuinely need help and don't have strength or knowledge of self advocating. Having to get myself out and seek proper treatment when I came screaming fot help is not anything anyone should have to experience”

“Therapist was friendly but ultimately unhelpful. Never gave us any concrete things we could do to better our situation. We also have a child on a waitlist and its been so long I don't believe we will ever get a call.”

“A love one of mine had a terrible experience here. Nurses are extremely rude over the phone. Make the individual feel worse than they already do. Provider gave instructions at appointment and told to follow up in a month. Called to follow up in a month and was told that they couldn’t do anything since it’s been a month. Again, these were the orders that were given the previous appointment. Cut off all ties to SSM. Their physicians are too busy to actually provide good care for their patients and have failed to follow through with their own orders. If you’re actually looking for healthcare please go to froedtert. Got in within 4 days and provider listened and helped when no one else at SSM would. SSM just pushes patients off to the next provider.”
