What patients say on Google
“Extremely Disorganized and Unreliable – Causing Serious Setbacks in Care I’m writing this as a deeply concerned aunt and caregiver. For the second month in a row, my nephew—who is autistic and has ADHD—has been left without access to his prescribed medications due to the disorganization and unreliability of GPHA Spectrum Behavioral Services. He was originally under the care of psychiatrist at Crozer, who prescribed his medication appropriately. When Crozer closed, they left patients like my nephew in the lurch with no continuity of care. We turned to GPHA hoping for help and stability—what we’ve received has been the opposite. Appointments are constantly canceled, often at the last minute with no explanation. The canceled on my nephew thru a text an hour before the appointment with no explanation. I was supposed to get a call back and still have not heard from them. Intake wasn’t completed properly, follow-ups are inconsistent, and front desk staff are either misinformed or unable to provide any helpful answers. Promises to call back are not kept, and we’ve had to scramble to get his prescriptions refilled through urgent care as a result. This is not just inconvenient—it’s dangerous. A young adult’s mental health and well-being are not something to be mishandled. I am now in the process of finding a new provider because GPHA has repeatedly failed to provide even the most basic standard of care. I hope this review helps other families make informed decisions and urges GPHA to take accountability and improve their processes.”
“The people who answer the phone at this organization are terrible. No manners at all and makes you not want to call. I completed most steps needed to see a psychiatrist went through an intake and another appointment with a psychiatrist. They cancelled my appointment with the psychiatrist at last minute. I have been avoiding going back here. This all occurred back in March-May 2024 now when I inquire again in October 2024 I am told I need to start over.”
“GPHA has several times randomly reassigned me to different doctors without consulting me, and canceled appointments without telling me. At my last telehealth appointment I was put on hold for half an hour before finally being connected to a different doctor than the one the appointment was supposed to be scheduled with. Of the two doctors there who I have interacted with, one called in the wrong prescription to the drug store, and the other was rude to me.”
“This place is the worst. Only go here as an absolute last resort. They screw up appointments and have only one pediatric psychiatrist covering every location virtually. He shows up 50 minutes late for appointments completely unprepared with a personal agenda and disregards meaningful information. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time here. Dr. Pamela Ralph is no longer here. Every good psychiatrist they had quit.”
