What patients say on Google
“I'm a former client of Theresa "Terri" Dyer from February 2017 to May 2018. I ended the relationship because she became abusive towards me. At first it was occasional backhanded comments about my weight and appearance, then closer towards the end she took verbal jabs at me, using past traumas and insecurities I disclosed during our sessions. In hindsight I realised Terri turned on me because we have opposing political views, and she didn't want me as a client because of this. A therapist is NEVER supposed to discuss politics with their client, let alone be cruel! About 4 months after I ended the relationship with Terri, Southshore Counseling sent me a thick packet of insurance papers on the mail, for some reason. It also looked like they attempted to charge my insurance company for therapy into july, which makes no sense, because I ended therapy with her in mid-May! Stay away from this place!”
“RUN! RUN! RUN! Where to start... Most unprofessional. Spoke of private issues with other family members. Several issues with other councelor speaking loudly in the office about patients, using foul language in front of children in the office until a patients parent needed to ask for the scene to stop. Our councelor shared private information with others causing family conflict. When asking her to discontinue her approach to an issue she continued. Much more that cannot be mentioned. Our councelor Suzanne shared with us private information about her child and questionable social behavior all while putting our family down without full knowledge of our situation. Turns out she was misinformed from someone she was speaking with about my child in the community. A councelor with obvious personal and family issues that should not be guiding others in anyway More negative reviews have been posted and removed so use caution before trusting this practice with your children”
“First of all they don’t get back to you if you leave a gmail or email.. AND False information all over the internet and the website. They don’t accept all insurances. Also they say you can’t come in person without a Covid vaccine. Only telehealth..0 stars”
“Therapist did not care enough. I had to repeat most of my words every session and there was no progress. Do not recommend.”
