What patients say on Google

“I was seen there for a little over a month. I should have left sooner. Dr. Lash was 20 to 30 mins late every session. Which made me feel like she didn't care. To me if you have a suicidal patients you should not leave them waiting for so long. I felt completely disrespected. When I called to cancel my appointments the office asked why. I told them it was because she was late everytime and I felt that was disrespectful. The office explained that she is always late and that they can knock on the door. She also had explained the same things to me at a previous appointment and said I could knock on the door previously . A. This is not my job to keep the counselor on track. B. I am not going to interrupt someone else's session C. As a professional you should know how to set a timer. The office minimized and gaslighted me and tried to get me to be seen another one of their providers. Why would I want to go wait there for another provider and have to worry about possibly having to deal with a confrontation with another. I dont feel like they understand or care to understand the gravity of the sittuation.”

“Everything about Tom Asby screams down to earth therapist who actually cares, from his casual clothes and appearance to his approach to therapy. He's not your typical therapist and I think that makes him so much more comfortable and easy to work with. Definitely recommend checking him out if you're needing some support because he genuinely cares and wants to help”

“Do not work with Dr. Ludwig if you are seeking an evaluation. I was referred to this place by my primary doctor because I wanted an evaluation on whether or not I had ADHD, because it runs in the family, or any other potential disorders. I just wanted to know for sure from a professional. I didn't already self diagnose myself with anything. Dr. Ludwig is the only one who does evaluations here, and my first and only meeting with him was awful. He was very condescending and I felt unheard most of the session. Dr. Ludwig talked to me like I was an idiot for even considering I may have ADHD, and even said I may be listening to someone's terminology and now I think I have it. Some of his questions were not helping. Things like, "How do you know when this happens?" or "When do you realize this thing happening?" I was panicking trying to figure out how to even answer. Then he went on a long history lesson about meditation and religion, leaving me confused what that had to do with me and why I was even there. I left here extremely disappointed and annoyed with the experience.”

“I went to Southpark Pyschology for nearly 6 months. My insurance was accepted and i was paying a $45 Co-Pay every session. Turns out the entire 5-6 months i was there they didn’t bother to check whether my insurance was accepting my claims. I stopped going for 3 months, only to be met with an over $1,000 charge for my appointments that i had already paid my Co-pay’s for. because they were too lazy to get ahold of Tri-Care. Spoke to tricare and then they said that they just needed a call from PS to remedy the missed insurance payment. To this day they are still trying to complete these $1009+ charges through me! They will go above and beyond to screw their patients, trying to make money from the poor and people who don’t know any bettter…. my word of advice is at the very least, at the end of your session, MAKE SURE YOUR INSURANCE GETS RAN ON THE SPOT. it took them 7-8 months to tell me i owed $1100, and i know for a fact my insurance was not charged once until i stopped going and when it bounced (instead of trying to figure it out) they put the entirety of the cost on me. would not suggest going through Southpark Psychology as it comes across as a swindle. fair warning. however Andy is a very sweet, compassionate therapist.”
