“Lake Murray Behavioral is currently undergoing a reduction in the number of available, full-time counselors, and this makes new patient intake a very difficult and long process. I was referred to the practice through my church for a family member, and during the scheduling of the initial intake there was no discussion of the amount of time required for regular appointments. After the up-charged first meeting with the therapist, I was informed it would be 6 weeks before another appointment could be scheduled. It was at this point that I was informed about the lack of full-time counselors on staff. Having only been once for the initial uptake appointment, I cannot say as to how well this practice handles their existing clients. But for those who may be considering them as a new patient, I would reconsider this firm and look elsewhere.”

“Never even got to set my appointment. Played phone tag with them for 3 weeks. They didn't return my calls until I called my doctor back for another referral bc they had my doctor send me a nasty note. I already had anxiety about starting therapy. This didn't help.”
