“I saw Dr. Donovan for almost a year and I am extremely disappointed in his performance. I recently lost my job because I was having panic attacks and accidentally crashed a car because of it. I told this man several times that I am having extremely bad panic attacks and all he did was give me meds that take weeks to kick in. I literally cried over the phone because of how bad my anxiety bad become. He never addressed my acute panic episodes. You can't prescribe meds that take weeks to work when I am not sleeping and panicking every day because I am working a very stressful job. I was an expert mechanic for Toyota and now I am jobless and I partly blame him for it. I paid thousand of dollars for his services but everything got worse. All he did was prescribe meds that other doctors had already given me. I must have tried 10 different medications but none of them did anything. Don't come here unless you want doctors who won't prescribe medication that actually works because of some nonsense about "half lives". I had told him about medicine that worked but he refused to prescribe it. By far the worst psychiatrist I have ever seen. Don't come here.”

“I was very impressed with the speed an professionalism with which Southern Psychology of Gulf Shores helped me. I called about new patient appointments on a Friday and was given an appointment the next Monday. I saw Dr Stephen’s who is board certified in Psychiatry and he was amazing. He patiently listened and addressed my concerns. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Although the office is off Highway 59, it is directly across from The new Baldwin Urgent Care and the Gulf Shores Airport! It’s in a small strip mall.”

“Very pleasant experience as a new patient with Dr. Stephens. He was very easy to talk to and was understanding when I explained what kind of issues I am having. He mildly tweaked my medication and it’s been 180 degree turn around.”

“I wanted to seek care at this facility but when I was seen by Donavan I explained I would really appreciate being put back on a prescription that I was on for 8 years. A simple no would have sufficed, but he went on to lecture me for 15 minutes in a incredibly condescending manner. I wanted to use this facility because it's closer to home and I take non narcotic medicine as it is and was trying to reduce my commute but he assumed I was some kind of druggy and lectured as I said in a very condescending way. Avoid this place not for their prescription policy but for their terrible interpersonal tact and lack of empathy. Terrible staff I doubt they can even handle a case load.”
