“I have been a patient of Dr. Taiwo, and NP -C Karen Amos for almost a decade. When I say that this physician, and nurse practitioner has been anchors in my life that might be a mild exaggeration. I don’t think the average person understands what goes into the treatment that they provide to us. There are the sessions, but then there is the paperwork and documentation that is precise, specific and And the best interest of the patient! I would ask anyone who reads negative reviews to consider the fact that the individuals may be either trying to hurt the practice, or they are not telling us what THEY did TO contribute to their negative review. I understand that everybody’s experience is subjective, and individual, but I have not had one negative, or worrisome interaction with either Dr. Taiwo, or NP-C Karen Amos. When I have Had any type of crisis, Karen always makes herself available. The amount of time that they spend with me is more than the average practitioner spends with me for my complex medical issues. I would say that Karen, and Dr. Taiwo have been Two of my greatest advocates, when compared to some of the specialists that treat me. Karen is always so kind, patient and supportive, whether it is a medical, personal or mental health crisis. I have been to a few psychiatrists, and I can say, hands-down, Dr. Taiwo and NP-C Karen Amos are the BEST! Please don’t let negative reviews cause you to miss out on knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic quality, mental health care! Thank you, Dr. Taiwo, and the amazing NP-C Karen Amos!”

“Amia is amazing. Very knowledgeable and kind. The office staff, on the other hand, is extremely unprofessional. Both my husband and I have been hung up on, I've had to wait up to 15 minutes on hold just to make an appointment. When asking a clarifying question, I was told to call back the next day then put on a never-ending hold ( I finally hung up after 22 minutes), I guess that's a way they can say they didn't hang up on me that time. I've had the front desk "eye" me from the top of my head to the tips of my toes in a judgmental way on more than one occasion. It really doesn't help someone, especially if they are seeking mental health help. The office staff is a nuisance that you must deal with in order to get great care from the doctors here. If you are willing to be belittled, wait constantly on hold, or be hung up on, the doctors you see will be great. After fighting this battle for years, we decided that it was best for our mental health to go elsewhere. The office staff we get to interact with now, at a new office, is a breath of fresh air. I truly miss Amia but I am not willing to be treated with such disrespect to see her. My husband will be switching soon too because of this.”

And now that my son is getting Ready to move out of state he has been very helpful and bridging the gap as he gets Care in a new state”

“The staff was very friendly and the wait time to see a doctor on the day of an appointment was on point. Dr. Taiwo was also very informative about my analysis/diagnosis results and I'm overall satisfied! They also have an app (Healow) for continued care which is very convenient.”
