How likely are you to recommend Southern Area Behavioral Healthcare?
What patients say on Google
“Highly trained, credentialed, and skilled professional staff; plenty of parking, very spacious and clean waiting room and client areas. They are conveniently located, and are accepting new clients with convenient hours through the evening and night time. I had the pleasure of meeting staff as they considered some community engagement, and I am highly impressed with their caring spirit to serve and heal those with challenges in life. Adult and child/adolescent services are provided. Give them a call to discuss your concerns for yourself, or for a loved one.”
“BARE MINIMUM mental health services. I don't even feel like the NPs have a good working knowledge of psychiatric medications. I CANNOT communicate with the NP. All she does is refill meds. If you need open dialogue regarding your medication management, DO NOT go here. Basically, only go here if it's your absolute LAST resort.”
“My time here has been great n the ppl that work here are very polite and Mr. Quincy is the best and ms Celia is the best she's great I would recommend y'all to come check them out they really help you here don't judge you very good ppl”
“Horrible customer service & horrible wait times/appointment availability. Let’s not even get started on the Dr! They want to try new medications that have horrible side effects. I moved away for a while and returned here after 2 years thinking service would still be good. The Dr wants to give my autistic son a NEW MEDICATION rather than prescribing him what he has already been taking which has been working! The facility sees mostly drug addict patients so they want to have discrepancy in who they prescribe certain drugs trying to be the police instead of doing their job! NEVER GOING BACK!”
