How likely are you to recommend South Nassau Communities Hospital: Psychiatric Services?
What patients say on Google
“unit d-4 is a nightmare to say the least…somber, cold, nothing to do except walk in circles endlessly and up and down the same halls or sit in a hard uncomfortable chair and stare at a miniature tv screen among dangerous violent patients who the hospital refuses to separate from those who are no where near to that extent. psychiatrists won’t speak to you for more than 5 min, also keep in mind that the hospital makes more money the longer they keep you it’s over $3k per day. absolutely no form of “ therapy “ not a single therapist except an overloaded social worker who you won’t see unless you demand relentlessly. horrible food, filthy legit dirt everywhere smelly. nurses ignore you despite being kind to them even asking for a cup of water was intimidating and degrading. i need to shoutout one special worker named Paul who works night shifts. i believe he is a psychaiatric assistant; he is bubbly, friendly, welcoming. gave me a fist pump when i first came up and was crying. cracks great jokes and is just such a ray of sunshine. you’re awesome paul and amazing!”
