How likely are you to recommend South Chesapeake Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“Been a patient since the edinburgh va, location opened. No nonsense, i made it known what works for me. Some adjustments were made. Overall Amanda snow is a great doctor. Glad I found this practice when I did. Only negative thing I can say is that the phone is not answered most times. But after leaving a message normally get back to me quickly. If I don't hear anything stopping by isn't an issue. Leads to a quick resolution.”
“I can’t say enough good things about this clinic and the care I’ve received here. Dr. Justin Ray and the entire team are truly exceptional—professional, compassionate, and consistently committed to creating a safe and supportive experience. I especially want to recognize Sarah Stankavich for going above and beyond in a way that genuinely sets this practice apart. Navigating insurance can be overwhelming, but Sarah handled every aspect with clarity, persistence, and proactive communication. I never felt like I had to chase updates or wonder what was happening—she kept me informed every step of the way. Beyond that, her kindness and approachability made a huge difference. She made me feel seen, heard, and cared for—not just as a patient, but as a person. It’s rare to find someone who combines efficiency with such a warm, human touch. Because of Sarah, this clinic feels like more than just a provider—it feels like an advocate in my corner. I’m incredibly grateful for her and for the entire team here.”
“Started in 2021 when I moved here. Didn’t care for Ms. Snow, but was scheduled with Justin without any issues. Justin has been a life saver to me. He definitely takes into consideration of past medications tried, side effects I want to avoid, and my preferences. I am in my best mental health in years! Justin is a godsend to mental health. Part intellectual and comedian, perfect fit. The office staff has improved significantly since they hired the last person. Prior to that, phone calls weren’t always responded to, the phone rang busy for hours!, or playing phone tag for days, leaving me to resort to going there in person to get my renewal script or other issue addressed. Overall, I entirely recommend this provider and office.”
“Dr. Amanda Snow is amazing. She has helped me prioritize my mental health. She is smart, caring and relatable. I highly recommend reaching out if you need an anchor in this sometimes chaotic world.”
