How likely are you to recommend Sound Mind Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“Definitely recommend. Luke is a great therapist, Ive seen Whitney and colby both, highly recommend both. Great listener and very good advice. Best place I've found after trying 4 different providers in 2 years.”
“I have been to a couple of different mental healthcare providers, but the people at Sound Mind Psychiatry are truly the best! Every single person who works there has been exceptionally kind, and I finally feel like I am making real progress. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks. 5 Stars!”
“My mom just started going here and it's wonderful. They were incredibly nice, knowledgeable and informative. Turns out my mother was on a few conflicting meds that her previous place prescribed and they caught it!”
“My first day talking with my phycyastrist was a very great experience. I do the Telehealth appointments. It was such a blessing. I was in my own home amd they understood my transportation concerns. My session was like nothing I've ever got to experience as far as talking to a phycyastrist. It was not a one sided conversation where I felt completely ignored about my symptoms and concerns to get me feeling better with medication that would be the best fit for me. I am going through surgical menopause and have hormone fed breast cancer 🎀 We tried a medication and I immediately could tell that it was not going to be a good fit for me. I spoke back with them hours later the same day and explained everything i was still experiencing and asked if I could try something I felt would be a better fit for my symptoms so I could feel better. I needed help. Immediate help. They got in contact with my phycyastrist and without hesitation allowed me to be apart of my medication plan. Again, I have never in my whole life as much as I've struggled with medications and therapy for a very, very long time and many trips in amd out of behavioral centers or hospitals where I was medicated without a say in my plan or what I was experiencing ar different points in my life. I had always just been put on what I call zombie medication that never helped and I ultimately became an alcoholic to block out what I was feeling. Now zombie medications is a word that is mine that is the only way I can describe how I felt for over 30 years. In 2018. My husband left, my kids wouldn't speak to me. Iys not because I didn't care, cause I cared alot. But i was trapped in darkness and not heard or cared for by many therapists, phycyastrist, hospitals or behavioral centers. Today 5-19-26. I finally have hope and my experience with Sound Minds blessed my life with how much they cared and listened and let me be apart of my journey to feeling myself again. This is how it should be. So many suffer and just get told to take this or that and not heard with the brokenness they are going through. This is how our Mental Healthcare system should be but it's not and people fall through the cracks and are left in total darkness and feel alone. They miss out on precious times with their families because they are treated like a problem rather than a person. Sound Minds, they are not like that. In my experience in just one day. Just one has made a whole difference that I am so thankful for. They genuinely want to do all they can to see someone not give up on themselves and be able to begin to heal. They don't want to see people just hurting or suffering and I believe God has blessed them with the gift of compassion and empathy for the greater good of our communities and humanity all together. If you are feeling like you dont matter. You do and everyone deserves to be treated like they matter. That's what Sound Minds psychiatry does. You matter to them. 🙏💙 I thank God for their dedication and seeing us as our Lord sees and cares for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. In just one day y'all have gave me hope and encouragement and my journey to healing is not over.🥹 Sincerely, J.M”
