What patients say on Google

“they need better beds and need to give you an actual blanket NOT a shower towel.”
Jaxon Bailey
“If you need a safe place to detox, heal, and regroup, this is it. I was admitted after an accidental overdose on kratom-based Oxonol painkillers I had been taking for arthritis and neuropathy pain. I was terrified at first, but the staff made me feel protected, cared for, and genuinely supported. The facility was clean, organized, and calm. The bed was comfortable enough, sheets were clean, and they gave me enough towels and a bag of basic toiletries with baby shampoo, body cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, and a comb. There was enough balanced space to read quietly, sit outside, play boardgames, and watch movies with others. The staff regularly checked on us, encouraged group participation, and treated us with kindness. They also accommodated my pain by providing an extra blanket and sweater. The Hispanic young man who did the entry prep with me was so compasisonate and explained things with care. Dr. Milan was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, the nurse with the two braids was very kind and carefully explained my medications, and Mrs. Allie Mae was especially compassionate — she made me feel like my Southern grandmother was there protecting me. The food wasn’t great, but I definitely wasn't left hungry, they gave us snacks, and the care mattered far more. Don’t let fear stop you from getting help. I’m grateful I went.”
