What patients say on Google

“If I could give this office 0 stars I would. I’ve been a patient since October 2025 and was seeing a NP who simply wasn’t meeting my needs. I continued seeing this NP until February when I decided she wasn’t taking my concerns seriously. I called the office and asked to be scheduled with a different provider, I have friends & acquaintances who also go to this office and they say this is what they’ve had to do and they never had any issues. They scheduled me with a resident and then quickly called me back saying they had to cancel my appointment and did not give me a reason why. They transferred me instead to a voicemail where I left a message asking for a call to schedule as soon as possible for a different provider as my mental health was not in a good spot. A week goes by, I call again, and again have to leave another voice message. At this point I am desperate and go to a behavioral urgent care. Another week goes by, no call back, no appointments, I call again, this time the lady who answers tells me she can’t tell me why I haven’t received a call back but that new patient appointments are scheduling into June. I explain to her I’m not a new patient, I’ve been coming to this office for several months, I just wanted to see a different provider because I felt that my needs were not being met. She tells me again these appointments are booking into June, I ask to speak with the office manager. I’m sent to her voice mail. I leave a voice message expressing my frustration that this mental health office clearly does not take mental health seriously and thankfully I wasn’t a person in crisis as they’re behavior and response time was ridiculously negligent. FINALLY today I received a call back. No name was left, all that was said was, “this is the psychiatric office, please call us to schedule an appointment in June.” No apology, no urgency, no basic empathy. If you’re struggling with your mental health, I 10/10 would not recommend this office.”

“Horrible experience bad communication as a doctor of mental health, Dr. Sarah Ahmed AND HER TEAM Clearly show that they do not care about the patient’s mental health. They do not get back to you with questions. The doctor herself just doesn’t even show up to appointments or will reschedule them numerous times. You would think all those years of college you would want to be a highly recommended doctor or just a recommended doctor. She clearly does not care about either or. Your mental health is not a priority to her and her being a recommended doctor does not matter either. If anything, she has been more of a burden on my mental health than a help and that is so sad.”

“I had a very negative experience with Olive Foster. From the beginning, her tone, facial expressions, and general attitude made me feel judged, dismissed, and disrespected. She consistently came across as irritated and impatient, especially when I struggled to recall dates or timelines — even though she was fully aware of my mental health condition. Rather than showing empathy or understanding, she made me feel like a burden. She cut me off when I spoke, rushed through appointments, and never took the time to actually listen. I often left her office feeling worse than when I arrived. She also prescribed me multiple medications without clearly explaining why or discussing other treatment options. It felt like her main focus was pushing prescriptions, not actually helping me heal. I started to feel like I was just another number to her — not a person. This experience left me feeling dehumanized and harmed. In my opinion, Olive Foster should not be in a role where she works with vulnerable people. If you're looking for a psychiatrist who listens, respects your input, and treats you with compassion, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.”

“I’d like to preface this with the fact that I don’t like like leaving reviews unless they’re positive because I understand that no one is perfect. However, I felt this was important information to share with others considering the nature of this clinic. The experience you have with this place is very dependent on which rotational person you get. The first person I was paired with was genuinely terrible to talk to. He told me I was a hypochondriac despite having access to my medical records which definitely say otherwise. His dates and notes in the records were inaccurate and he didn’t listen to me when I was in the office. I guess he didn’t expect me to actually look at the after visit summaries. The thought of him out there working with others who need help makes me uneasy. I’ve had one great person, Steven Irwin, that I would have loved to continue seeing, but his time in that rotation ended. He made me feel heard and not at all like I was overreacting when I expressed any sort of feelings. My latest person was at least pleasant and tried to be helpful. Each person had another doctor over them that checks in and they are also a mixed bag. There is a nice man and a woman that I would rather never work with again. I was having an extremely difficult time after the tragic and traumatic loss of my soulmate dog and this woman looked me in the eyes and said “Some people see animals as family” and then told me that is seemed like I had chronic depression. I was dumbfounded. First of all, read the room. Second of all, she completely missed that I was talking about her when I responded that I felt my grief was being belittled. Third, she clearly didn’t look at any notes because I’ve given them my medical history, which details my chronic depression for over twenty years. The lack of emotional intelligence and preparedness for interactions was honestly astounding. That was the day that I decided I was done with the uncertainty of who I’d be seeing. My third person is apparently done now because I have no more appointments and no ability to contact the office through MyChart. It seemed like a good time to go ahead and find another place. Hopefully I am able to get someone before my medications need to be refilled. That all said, the ladies at the desk when you come up the stairs and the ladies who take your vitals are always pleasant. It’s unfortunate that the unpleasant people here do more damage than the good ones are able to compensate for. One star for all the people who need more training. Two extra stars for the few well-suited individuals. I feel sorry that others are dragging them down.”
