“I am beyond grateful for the care that i received here. I have had awful experiences at other PHPs being a disabled wheelchair user, and I can safely say that I've had many repairative experiences here. All of the staff are so kind and helpful, and I felt like for once, my accommodation needs were taken seriously. I have never been to a program where the accommodation issues I've brought up were addressed and fixed while I was still in program. I will also say, this is the best collectivist focused program I've been to. Other programs I've been to are very individual-focused and felt like being beaten over the head with how co-dependant I was without any understanding of my cultural background. I really appreciated how in depth the psych education was as well. I was really getting burnt out on dbt skill groups, and learning Polyvagal Theory, as well as Attachment Theory was very refreshing and mentally stimulating. Even groups I feel like Ive repeated a thousand times like Boundaries and DBT skills, had insights that I found lacking at other programs. Being able to do Somatic Therapy has been so helpful as well, and has given me better trust in myself and my ability to check in with my chronic pain. Shouts out Whitney 🫶🏻 And above all Spravato has been a game changer. Ive really turned a corner on my hope for the future and connection to life thanks to Spravato, and the kind staff really have helped me gain more trust in medical spaces. I could truly go on for paragraphs about all of my appreciation for the care i have recieved here. I will forever be grateful to how much Skyway has transformed my life. 🫶🏻✨️💕”
