“My counselor is amazing! However makenna mongan needs less clients or something. She contacted us in December to help my 11 yr old. Checked in with me weekly since. I have let her know she(my daughter) needed to b seen, and expressed my concerns over and over. Saw my daughter (her client) ONCE. She (makenna counselor*) was sick. *Had a wedding. *Her sister had a baby. *Was sick. Never saw my daughter a second time. *I have my OWN counselor.* She was my 11 yr old daughters counselor and never ever had availability. Sinissippi needs to do better. Im a very upset mother”

“Been going to the rt2 Sinnissippi Centers for over 16 years now off and on. It took a while to get to a point that I feel I'm getting the help I need as I came from other facilities that weren't helping me. Over the years I've had quite a few therapists and some were not a good fit but most have been genuinely concerned about my mental health. Not only do the councilors care but there are several programs to help people with just about anything they struggle with. I've recommended Sinnissippi to many people who have expressed wanting help and know a few who are now going there and are getting help. I've also seen people go with the idea that it will be a quick fix and that's just not how these things work. It takes time and repetition to get ourselves to a better mind state. This is the place to do it.”

“Went there today for help. Got ignored sat in the lobby for 40 mins for an intake. While the lady sat on her phone the whole time I was there didn’t look up once. When calling to report it. Then was hung up on. If you want help don’t come here. You are not valued only your money. I came for help only to leave feeling worse about my self… Correct me if I’m wrong but a person that sits at a window and does intake shouldn’t their responsibility to make sure the clients are taken care of? It’s like when someone comes into your home they are the guest not you. So you take care of them. We came for help only to leave feeling more hurt. Congrats to you sinnissippi for having the most one stars I’ve ever seen on reviews. So please before coming here read some of the one stars I’m not the first one to report feeling like this. A place of help to make you feel more shameful and leave disappointed. Good luck Hopefully if you do you’re lucky enough to get seen and you don’t leave feeling worse about your self. If I could give less than one star I would.”

“They have no resources for the LGBQT+ community. The way people are treated there especially employees is awful. Don’t be blinded by an illusion that seems like they would help you, I had my kids go there only for it to be a waste of time and money, they did not improve until I took them out and learned ways to help my own kids work thru some big emotions. Especially my son who has Jacob syndrome, complete waste of resources. The constant revolving door of employees shows the lack of structure they have within the hierarchy. The caseloads on the clinicians is impossible for them to even keep up with their clients. Which makes the environment feel less like a healing center, and more like a business. Which I don’t want to be entangled with a business orientated mental health facility.”
