What patients say on Google
“I met with her once. She wanted to take me off all antidepressants b/c I was bipolar II and I should only be on mood stabilizers. One antidepressant was used for sleep so I didn’t sleep for a week. I had migraines for a week from stopping the meds. She added Vraylar which I told her made me gain 75 lb last year and she said it doesn’t cause weight gain (despite the warnings in the commercials). I started it and gained 8 lb in one week while on a GLP-1 injection. My other concern was that I was having to spell medications for her at my intake which alarmed me. I won’t be seeing her again due to the issues above.”
“********************Long Post******************* I normally do not leave a review if I had a bad experience but I received a text from Lifestance wanting me to rate my experience and the visit I had today. I will start with the very 1st visit I had was in October of last year my Dad passed away unexpectedly and I had to help my mom plan a funeral while working a full time job because my job only gave me two days off. I was overwhelmed with work and the funeral planning so I scheduled a visit with the 1st available Dr. She gave me a medication that I took in the past and I told her the medication made me feel like a zombie I would be very tired for days, she insisted I take the pills but cut them in half, I tried that and they still made me feel too tired to function. The second medication she wanted me to take had too many side effects and I didn’t feel comfortable taking it. The only thing that helped me get through was klonopin and I only took the medication to get me through the funeral and after that I stopped taking them. I didn’t follow up with her anymore because I felt fine. Moving forward last Friday I had a panic attack while driving on a busy road I had to pull over, I ended up in the ER because it felt like I was having a heart attack and I was going to pass out. Everything check out okay at the hospital and they told me it was a panic attack and I need to see a Dr. I called lifestance again but I wanted to see a different doctor but I was told I would have to come in like a new patient all over again and I couldn’t see anyone until next week and I could not wait that long so I scheduled a visit today with Dr. Hummer again. I explained to her what happened and she showed no compassion at all she started going over what we discussed last year and I told her I was not having panic attacks last year this just started, she said she can start me on the same pills (that I told her I didn’t do well with) but it would take time for the medication to work. I told her I still had a few klonopin left over from last year and I took one of those it took about an hour but it did help calm me down. She said she does not like to give people those because they become dependent on them, I told her I still had pills left over from last year and I am not someone that just take pills just because I only take them when needed, I asked her what am I supposed to do what if this keeps happening and what if next time I cause an accident due to the panic attack or what if I pass out, first she said just cut the klonopin in half, then she told me don’t drive. I can’t not drive and I don’t have anyone to drive me around. I will end this post with…..You’re supposed to see a Dr to make you feel better not worse and that’s exactly what she did. No help at all and I only selected one star because I couldn’t post if I didn’t choose a star.”
“Dr hummer is my dr. She’s friendly and efficient. The office is updated and clean. There’s never a delay of meds. I have had horrible experiences getting my refills with other drs and with hummer, there are no issues.”
“Dr Hummer is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about her patients!!!!”
