Instead of support, the session turned into the therapist sharing strong personal political opinions, and the conversation became argumentative. I did not feel heard or emotionally safe. Therapy should be a neutral space focused on the client’s well-being, not a debate about political views. I ended the session and have since chosen to seek care elsewhere.
