“This place has great and caring doctors but the administration is crooked. They drop you without notice regardless of your medication. Some meds like Lexapro are very dangerous to stop cold turkey but they don't care. They don't answer the phone before 830am. And will schedule appointments without your consent. This place does not treat homeless folks as they require an address. Don't go here. You'd get better help and care from a school nurse.”

I have been here at SBH since 2020 and this is by far the best. They helped me recover from 6 months of debilitating depression where I couldn't even get out of bed. I thought I was broken and in some ways I was. I had eyes but couldn't see. A heart but couldn't feel. A brain but couldn't think properly. “Hello my brother has been a patient at the former shreveport mental health for around 15 years now which my now deceased mother set up for him and today 1-26-2018 he was discharged from the clinic because of his drug use. When I first contacted smh for help with him, I did not think that would get him kicked out of the clinic. If I had known this I would never reported that info to smh. My brother has severe schizophrenia and the clinic was a success with his condition with the injections. Now I am left with trying to solve a problem with drug use and mental issues. I am very disappointed with the outcome, being he has been a patient for so long.”
