“I’m not sure where to begin. I didn’t and don’t want to reach out to anyone for help with anything that may or may not be going on in my life. And I certainly don’t like to spend time or money on a problem that I don’t even want to admit that I may or may not have. After reaching out to lifestance and investing valuable time and money getting to know them and them getting to know me, the doctor I was seeing just up and quit or got fired or whatever, just gone. So I had to start all over with another doctor. When I bring up things that are bothering me she just asks” do you want to talk to someone?” And I’m like “aren’t you someone?” And I’ve made it clear that I don’t like to ask for help or wasting my family’s money and time on self help. She still insists on me taking a $200 drug test for some reason before she will do anything more than my primary care physician is already doing. It’s just been a huge waste of time and money. And makes me not want to ever reach out again. I was reluctant before and now I’m even more so. I’ve never tried to self medicate but after dealing with lifestance I may look into it.”
