“Two things that should tell you she is not someone you want to work with: - She told me she’s never had an issue with insurance regarding Auvelity and gave me a few weeks of Auvelity samples and submitted a prior authorization with it. First time, it was approved, but second time it was denied. I called her office, and her response was that I can come by the office, get more samples, and she’ll talk to her Auvelity rep to see what we can do. I told her I’m down in Little Rock over the summer, and then they called me back and said she can’t do anything for me because I’m in Little Rock and to find a provider down here. Simply, instead of booking a telehealth and finding an alternative (which was already something we planned on doing in case the Auvelity didn’t work out), I guess my insurance was too much of a hassle for her to actually do her job? This also leads me into my second point. - She submitted a genesight testing for me, yet my insurance also didn’t approve it. She told me not to worry about it, and told me she will “never let me do something that I won’t be able to afford.” Needless to say, insurance rejected it, I was billed. Her advice when we submitted the DNA was to “ignore the bill, they’ll write it off on their taxes and won’t send to collections.” For everyone’s sake, she better be right.”
