“I had the best experience with a psychiatrist to date today. Dr Natarajan is absolutely amazing. I have seen 5 different psychiatrists throughout my journey iver the past six years. The first was great, the following four, not so much. What sets Dr Natarajan apart is her warmth and intentionality. It immediately felt like a judgement free zone, which has been a challenge with 3 of my previous psychiatrists. Beyond that, she took the time during our first appointment to get to know me, not just my symptoms. We discussed my goals for my life, not just my goals for medication management, and that made me feel seen in a way that i have previously only encountered in a single therapist out of four or five, just trying to find someone who clicks. On the medication side, they have all zeroed in on my symptoms and how to attack those with medication, which is very much necessary for my diagnosis, and i understand the division of labor between psychiatry and therapy, but taking the time to gather the context of my life and what i want from the actual end result of stabilizing my moods was truly incredible. It creates a sense of security in knowing that the way she chooses to approach medication management and that the things i need for my life will be the goal, not just making me behave myself, so to speak. If her colleagues are anything like her, you will be in excellent hands pursuing your mental health goals with Primary Health, whoever you establish care with.”

“YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO BE AFRAID TO TELL YOUR DR THE TRUTH Insensitive, will turn on you when she hears something she doesn’t like and excuse it as being “stern” after saying “it’s ok, tell me what you’re thinking” absolutely embarrassing You should be able to tell your Dr the truth without being afraid to. Dr Natarajan absolutely ruined the frail patient / Dr relationship we were supposed to be building.”

Gerri is always so sweet, Dr. Natarajan has been by far the best physician I have ever seen with caring and compassion and allowing myself the chance to make my own decisions in my care. Most recently a nurse I'd never seen before was my nurse. She made me feel at ease, was caring, and smiled throughout my visit. This helped ease my anxiety tremendously.
