“First, I have to say Dr. Chawla herself is a great practitioner. She has been able to provide excellent patient support and medication management. That said, her billing department is the most fraudulent I have ever encountered! They never send statements and then randomly bill for amounts other than what the insurance company says I owe. When I was finally able to get someone to send me a statement, they showed my insurance still owed, when I clearly had the EOBs proving otherwise. They have threatened to send me to collections for amounts I already paid. When I reconciled my EOBs and payment, I had a zero balance, and after my next appointment, they charged me $116 more than my copay. I'm currently exploring reporting them to my insurance and credit card company, as well as looking for a new provider.”

“My child saw the nurse practitioner Monica Conway and it was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! After 15min of our virtual appointment, I ended the call with her. I know connecting with patients via zoom is hard but I know it can be done. This lady never even looked at the computer screen to try and connect with my child. She kept asking “Do you want to hurt yourself or end your life?” and not once attempted to look at the computer screen. She was looking at another computer and typing. When you ask something this personal to a child you need to look at them. I immediately called the office to tell them how disappointed I was and how Monica should never be allowed to work with children. I told them I need to speak to someone in billing because I do not want to be charged $400 for this session. They told me someone would call and they would ask Dr. Chawla to see my child and I never got a call back. I have called several times but they never answer or return calls and I have emailed several times and never get responses. They did submit the charges to my insurance and are now sending me bills to pay the remainder. I sent one final email asking to hear back so we can resolve this and they never contacted me. Now I will leave reviews to make sure nobody ever brings their child here. I can not believe this is how they run their business. They are supposed to be helping their patients not adding unnecessary stress and pain.”
