How likely are you to recommend Serenity Mental Health Centers - San Antonio?
What patients say on Google
“Serenity is hands down, probably THE best health care facility I've had the pleasure of visiting. The reception staff are so personable, professional, and attentive. My provider as well is very professional and caring. He takes the time to genuinely understand if the treatment is working, and if I feel some adjustments are needed, he works to find what's right for me. It also helps that they have a wide range of available appointment times so I can go when it's most convenient.”
“I've had decent experiences at this location with Dr Norman. However, this morning was pretty irritating. I drive over an hour to get here and ended up behind an accident this morning making me 13 minutes late. I called the office before my appointment time to notify them. When I arrived I was turned away for being 3 minutes past their "grace window". As a Healthcare provider, I get it, but sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. To add insult to injury, it is not uncommon for me to wait in the waiting room 10 to 15 minutes after my appointment time when I am on time. I think a little grace should be extended in extenuating circumstances.”
“I was over thinking my appointment. But I kept my appointment and have no regrets. Ms. Monique was very pleasant and easy to talk to. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in, which helped ease my anxiety. I left the office feeling hopeful and excited. Looking forward to this chapter of my life. Thank you Serenity!”
“I am so very grateful for finding Serenity. My psychiatrist takes everything I struggle with from A to Z into consideration, mental or not before prescribing a medication. A medication to fit me for my needs and not something “popular” that Dr. Tom, Dr. Dick and Dr. Harry also give with a goodbye and good luck. When it comes to other issues because of my mental issues, she offers amazing recommendations. Places she holds in high regard not a list off the internet. This is worth the mention because well,… If you know, you know. If you don’t then you haven’t put enough time looking for a doctor. Here, I feel taken care of as a whole person. Not just my mental health. But as an individual that needs help. Nine times out of ten, first point of contact is all you need to have an overall idea of how that company operates. I knew I made a good choice when I called to make an appt. I really felt the warmth and kindness during that conversation. For the first time I was actually looking forward to my first appointment. A little nervous because like I said 9 times out of 10, but I allowed myself to let in just a little bit of hope because of that first phone call. I’m happy to say I'm better now than when I first walked through their doors. Hasn’t been easy that’s for sure. You know how people say, the struggle is real, well it is. I’ve had many really hard days. But to have a team to journey together with, that’s a different kind of struggle. The, There’s no quitting allowed now get let’s get moving kind. As long as I keep doing my part they’ll do theirs. Today’s a good day.”
