“I was avoiding leaving a negative review because of the possibility of retaliation but I feel like it's my duty to warn others. I had an appointment with him a little more than a month ago and I was left very dissatisfied with his service. Firstly, he ignored my request to be diagnosed again or to have a 2nd opinion. Secondly, he prescribed me medicines I told him I have bad reactions to. I also told him one of the medicines negatively affects my reproductive health. That was ignored as well. When I explained things, he wouldn't give a well-thought-out answer most of the time. He would say "mhm mhm" followed by a long silence. Then he'd brush off my concerns. I had more concerns to address however, I was unable to address the rest of my concerns because he rushed the last bit of the appointment. After the appointment, I was so upset to the point I couldn't stop crying for at least an hour. I understand that psychiatrists know what's best and I listen to them for that reason. However, it's quite disappointing to have someone who has your life in their hands ignore your concerns. I'm not sure if this review will cause retaliation but here is my honest review (May already have since I told the reception lady to please call me once they find another person to manage my medication after she offered. She has yet to call me back. But that could just mean they're busy so I can understand). I do not encourage others to book an appointment with Dr. Sasa Strunjas. I do still think LifeStance is an adequate company overall despite that.”
