What patients say on Google
“I wanted to take a moment to let you know what an outstanding experience my family and I have had with Karina. From the very first time I called, she promptly returned my call when no one else seemed able to give me direction. Before reaching her, I had contacted seven or eight different locations and was getting nowhere. Karina stepped in immediately and made all the difference. She deserves to be commended for her exceptional follow-up, her patience in educating us about the entire process, and her dedication in continuing to work through all of the paperwork needed so we could obtain coverage. She never left us wondering what came next and always made sure we understood every step. Beyond her professionalism, Karina treated us with kindness, compassion, and a genuine sense of caring. She made my family feel that we were completely in good hands, and everything she told us has proven to be true. That kind of reassurance meant more than words can express during a stressful time. I believe you have an incredibly valuable asset in Karina. After dealing with so many doctors, hospitals, and medical offices, I can honestly say that her level of dedication, communication, and compassion stands out from anything I have experienced. She is a wonderful representative of your organization, and I hope she receives the recognition she truly deserves. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for having someone like Karina on your team. Sincerely, Raul”
“I wish there was an option to give a zero. This place needs to be shut down and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure that happens. This facility if you want to call it that has made decisions regarding medical care in which they have no experience with. Their scope of care is mental health. The director tells me she’s not a doctor but unilaterally makes decisions regarding someone’s care. When asking for my loved one to be transferred to their doctor for care we were threatened with a court order. All they care about is money and getting paid, not the patients. I have contacted my attorney and will be fighting with everything I’ve got. If you care about your loved one please don’t bring them here. They won’t let them go and you may never see them again and if you do they’ll be worse than when they got there.”
“The staff in the ECT department are wonderful. They are competent and helpful. Their personalities are well suited for this vocation. I love them all. Ernest, Macy, Karina, Delisa,Angela, Leonor, Katherine, and Tony make a fantastic team along with the Docs.”
“Changes are happening in such a great way! I just completed new hire orientation and have to say Kara G. is a treasure and SABHH and all its patients are lucky to have her. Felicia did such a great job making sure we felt fully competent to provide excellent care and documentation. Michael B. provided excellent training in therapeutic options and was so instrumental in helping us create lasting bonds. No matter what you’ve heard in the past, SABHH cares and is taking great steps to change mental health culture in San Antonio!”
