“Wow! It sure is quiet up there. I remember a lot of hoopla from people who were either afraid this mental health group home was going to devalue their homes or threaten their safety. That didn’t happen. There were some wrinkles, at first, when residents went on unsupervised walks down the hill and, in one case, right into somebody’s kitchen. Medication can addle the senses. That kind of thing hasn’t happened in years. I live nearby, but not on an adjacent property, and can understand how some of us wouldn’t want to be too close to the “action.” But, I don’t hear of any action, so I believe this has turned out to be good all the way around. The Salisbury house is a beautiful structure in a beautiful setting, and it appears to me that the powers to be are on their toes. I only applied 4 stars to my rating because I don’t keep my ear to the ground for bad news. I may have missed a lot. If you’re concerned, ask around.”
