How likely are you to recommend Sagent Behavioral Health - Appleton?
What patients say on Google
“My providers have generally been great through Sagent, but the billing experience has been abhorrent and I can't understand how this place is still running let alone still has license to practice & see patients. Insurance retroactively denied claims and I was never notified of the balance change. I was on a payment plan and did not realize until months after the chargebacks that my balance was over $3k. I waited for MONTHS to pay that any further while I was told "we are looking into this" only to realize nobody had actually contacted insurance to fix the amounts. I have spent countless hours talking with both Sagent staff and my insurance to fix this. then Sagent sent an email that said "good news! we have solved the issues" when in reality it was MYSELF who managed to fix it. Sagent has no sense of urgency. And now that I'm in a horrific financial situation and can't pay them for a little while here (which they should be well aware of by now), they are charging interest on the balance they neglected to update for 6 months (possibly longer, but I don't have confirmation of exactly how long it was until I found out). No offers of financial assistance, or a waiver of interest, or anything to correct their egregious errors & total neglect of duty to patients. I now have no psych provider, no therapist, no support, and no assistance to negotiate this bill so I never have to hear from this godforsaken place ever again. I wish I could still see my providers, but unfortunately my trust in this facility is completely shattered and I have to suffer for it - while Sagent does not even bat an eye at the loss of a well established and frequently seen (and billed) patient.”
“Previously 'Nystrom & Associates'...Attempted to find new provider after my last one (I think they burnt her out) from here left and Amy Kuritz kept calling in sick and canceled on me before first appointment (twice) when I needed medication refills. They also charge you interest per month on medical bills, ew. It's very hard on get ahold of a nurse because they outsource everything and nothing is local. Also, you have to call to pay a bill and can't do it on mobile. Seriously, you're paying your hard earned money for healthcare, go somewhere else. They are very about profits and not about mental health care.”
“Myself and both my teenagers use Sagent for therapy and med management. We’ve had nothing but great experiences both in the Appleton office and virtual. The front desk is always friendly and responsive. Even the billing support was incredibly helpful and friendly when I needed help altering my payment plan. 10/10 would recommend Sagent to anyone.”
“My son just started therapy and already things seem very promising. The building is warm and inviting and there is a sense of calm and openess. I'm excited for him and hoping this helps him so much.”
