“If i could give a 0 rating I would, my daughter took my son in law to this place with extreme leg pain leg was discolored could barely walk, they sent him home 3 hours later he was at the emergency room ended getting taken to a different hospital by ambulance a week later he passed away blood clots in his leg. Then my daughter ended up getting sent few years later for a STAT CT scan for her appendix, they did scan sent her home with no answers said she get a phone call no phone call nothing uploaded to her my chart, she was sent to get scan done on a Friday around 12:30 still have heard nothing and it's Monday, have called and try to get results with no success !”

“Terrible emergency room. This is not a place to receive healthcare. This is a place for them to rack up procedures to bill you and your insurance. We were recommended to take our son here from Rush urgent care in Oswego due to our 20 month old son having a 104 degree fever. We arrived at 7pm and it took 5hrs before we saw the doctor. His fever was gone for 4hrs yet they continue to give him different medications that they couldn't explain why they were giving them to him. Our son was beyond exhausted after getting his vitals taken over and over again showing over and over his fever was gone yet nothing was done just moving us from one room to the next. Checking his vitals without any explanation why we couldn't go take our son and get him rest. They took his x rays of his lungs after we were there for about 2hrs yet took 3 more hrs checking his vitals 3 more times and giving him Tylenol again despite his temp down to 98 degrees for 4hrs. And the final result after 5hrs of drugs X-rays multiple rooms? The doctor looked in his ear and came to the conclusion it was an ear infection. This is after 2 nurses and a nurse practitioner look in his ear and said "they were perfectly clear". Lack of any actual care from the nurses and the doctor coming to the conclusion of an ear infection after 3 different nurses cleared him of ear infection makes 100% believe they are not providing medical care. They are using medical procedures to generate revenue. They kept a 20month old boy up until near midnight to diagnosis him with an ear infection after they looked in his ears 5hrs prior and cleared him of an ear infection. Disgusting behavior and no one here should have medical license.”

“This is for the ER Department / Avoid this ER for pregnancy concerns. I went into this ER for bleeding and cramping during pregnancy, as advised by my OB. Right away, the nurse taking my vitals was rude: when I said my OB sent me there, she rolled her eyes, and said, “Of course they did,” with attitude. She also gave my 4‑year‑old son a frustrated look for wiggling in his chair. ?? The ultrasound tech was by far the worst. She was an older woman with a stern, unfriendly demeanor and zero empathy. When I nervously asked if I could see the ultrasound or know if the baby was okay, she snapped, “No. I’m not a doctor, I can’t tell you that.” Her tone was harsh and demeaning. I was crying and shaking, and she told me to “stop shaking” multiple times as if I could control it. I felt completely judged and traumatized. Anyone who encounters her should request another tech if possible. I wish I knew her name, but I believe they only have one tech working there. When Dr. Bala finally came in, I was already devastated from the ultrasound. He showed no compassion and didn’t discuss the most important results: that there was no yolk sac, the baby was measuring smaller than expected, I was internally bleeding, and, worst of all, the baby had no heartbeat. Instead, he asked, “Why are you crying?” and told me to follow up with my OB the next day. It was mentally and emotionally crushing. The next day, my OB was kind, understanding, and compassionate and officially diagnosed my missed miscarriage. The difference in care was overwhelming. The staff at Rush Copley ER (Yorkville) have no compassion, patience, or understanding. All the negative reviews are completely true. Some of these people chose to work in healthcare, yet they completely lack the basic human compassion their job requires. Save yourself the trauma. PLEASE do not come here.”

“I recommend going to any other rush . The one in Yorkville is nothing but rude every time I go. They seem like they don’t even want to help you. ( walk in care ).”
