How likely are you to recommend Rochester Holistic Psychiatry?
“I have been a patient of Dr. Chaudhri and his staff since 8/1999. I have grown and changed as a person and my mental health has also grown and changed. I have experienced several major life events. I wasn't always a cooperative patient. Dr. Chaudhri never failed to find a way to reach me and treat my mental health as well as I would tolerate/participate. Dr. Chaudhri has a wide range of tools/treatments. Dr. Chaudhri has never been complacent with new treatments and avenues for his patients. Dr. Chaudhri is a pivotal member of my health care plan, along with his awesome office staff!”
“I think Dr. Chaudri is fantastic. He was thorough and very knowledgeable. That being said, I've since learned that TMS without a comprehensive brain mapping and understanding of your unique brain functioning is risky and often ineffective. I went through two rounds of TMS. The first round treated the "depression" spot on my brain. This treatment significantly reduced depressive symptoms but also significantly increased anxiety symptoms. This is because the part of my brain treated wasn't the appropriate spot based on my brain functioning. The anxiety was intolerable so I decided to do another round of TMS on a different spot of my brain. I felt no difference. It's been about a year since treatment. The depressive symptoms returned gradually. The anxiety subsided slowly. Ultimately I would recommend TMS for depression, anxiety, OCD if your insurance is covering it. I'm about to start neurofeedback at Arbor Health. I had a qeeg done and my symptoms are congruent with their brain mapping. Neurofeedback restores proper functioning to YOUR brain and it's effects are supposedly a lot longer lasting. If insurance isn't covering TMS, I'd definitely go the neurofeedback route. I think TMS is potentially life changing though if your a good candidate”
“I would give less than 1 star if that was an option. Dr.C has no bedside manner and appears to lack any true compassion for his patients. Although I had many issues throughout the time I was a patient here, the final straw was when I missed an appointment(due to a decline in my mental health) and instead of reaching out I heard nothing. This escalated in the weeks following and I ended up in the emergency department at Strong and even though they contacted him at that time, and he claimed he would reach out to me— like most of his promises it was not kept. I felt betrayed and uncared for.”
“I do TMS therapy here and I have to say it's been wonderful. Within the first three weeks I suddenly felt better than I have in years and it's only gotten better. It hasn't replaced my medication but it has made it work. It's nice to smile again and I 100% recommend it!!”
