How likely are you to recommend Riverview Health Behavioral Care?
What patients say on Google
“Had a TIA in my providers office. Kelly Batten NP. She said I was manic and prescribed more medication for mental health. I am now unable to walk due to her indifference to medical care vs mental health care. When I was in her office she decided that I could not be having a medical condition I was shocked when I got an opportunity to read her notes on that day. My blood pressure was skyrocketing through the roof I was on her floor struggling to breathe and a lot of facial numbness. I placed my care and trust in the provider for over 5 years. I'm very saddened at her reckless approach to healthcare. After years of trusting this provider, I do not suggest her. I am 30 and I was ignored and scolded.”
“I have been seeing Dr. Barbera for a little over six months now. He has been great to work with, and I feel that therapy has been progressing smoothly. I have learned several helpful tools and techniques that I can use to support myself during difficult moments, and I feel more confident in my ability to manage challenges as they arise.”
“I was referred here by my primary doctor and would absolutely not recommend. When I called to schedule a first appointment was informed the practice has a mandatory orientation session that everyone must attend first where they review the practice's offerings. Fine. I went, and it was a waste of my time. In a group setting they merely explained why therapy can help and walked through the different group therapy sessions they offer and the workbooks they used. I was not at all interested in group therapy, so I sat through this for nothing when all of it could have been explained in a pamphlet or over the phone. A month later I get a notice that insurance was billed and I had to pay the remainder for a group therapy session. When I called to inquire they said of course insurance was billed and if I really didn't want to go I could have not attended and just waited longer to get an appointment. Spare yourself the time, I would not recommend.”
“Nice therapist was nice enough, but I only give this to Stars due to the nurse practitioner. she was brewed most of the time, and doesn't even want to be there to me. I was sent there by my family care doctor to get my prescriptions refilled, but this practitioner doesn't seem to even want to fill prescriptions and even told me so. Every time I went in I felt attacked and belittled by her, and her bedside manner is absolutely horrible. She has no concept of mental and behavioral health, and not once did I ever feel reassured or treated fairly by her. IF I COULD GIVE A 10 FOR JACKIE AT THE FRONT DESK I WOULD, SHES LOVELY, AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT!”
