What patients say on Google

“I recently had an amazing experience with Riverside Psychiatric Services. They were able to accommodate me on very short notice, which was incredibly helpful. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel respected and truly at home. The team understands the importance of having someone to talk to for help, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout my visit. I'm extremely grateful for their support and highly recommend Riverside Psychiatric Services to anyone seeking help.”

“I wouldn’t do it. My first experience was rather positive with the psychiatrist I was working with, however when he requested a drug screen instead of sending me the request form he sent me another patient’s drug test results. When I reached out about this, I was originally ignored, and then instructed to “please disregard” as if it wasn’t a big deal. That should have been enough for me to back off but I stuck with it because his treatment plan seemed to be working. Then over this past weekend my psychiatrist forgot to send in my prescription. I have only been with them for about a month. I reached out to Mike who told me that my psychiatrist was gone all weekend. I requested the prescription. This is being written on the following Tuesday night and it is still not in. Furthermore, another medication we were going to try was sent in by my doctor but soon rejected by the pharmacist. My psychiatrist did not check the records to see it would be refused (as he later admitted). I spoke with two pharmacists to see what could be done; one of them had no idea why it was rejected and the other just stated the psychiatrist would have to call them. I then took what according to them were appropriate steps to ensure this issue would not come up again (keeping it somewhat vague for personal privacy). During my latest appointment I attempted to explain this to my psychiatrist and request that he call; he would hear none of it and simply refused to fill the medication, and that brings me to now. I’d say for me it’s just the “I know we messed up, but it’s okay” attitude that is leading me away from this practice. Furthermore, in retaliation for leaving this review, they billed me $255 with zero notice. All my visits were conducted via telehealth which are 100% covered by my insurance with no deductible.”

“I had a fantastic session with Godfrey. He made the experience fun and made me feel special, even when I was feeling overwhelmed. I'm truly thankful for your help, Godfrey!”

“I’ve had the pleasure to work firsthand with some of the licensed mental healthcare professionals who are apart of Riverside psychiatric and they taught me the true and deeper meanings of what is behind the idea of “wellbeing” as a whole. Cannot recommend these dedicated heroes enough and would highly recommend all of my friends and family to them”
