What patients say on Google

“After meeting with two counselors before finding Meg—one who seemed more interested in gossip than addressing the emotional turmoil I was experiencing and another who spent the entire session scrolling through her phone and even asked me to repeat myself multiple times—I felt completely unheard and frustrated. As a therapist, I understand the importance of having a compassionate and caring counselor, so I am truly blessed to have been referred to Meg. When I met her, it was clear that Meg is an exceptional professional. She listened with genuine empathy, created a safe and supportive space, and approached our sessions with care and attentiveness I hadn’t experienced before. During the most challenging situation I’ve ever faced, Meg provided the emotional support I needed and the guidance to help me navigate it. Her approach is both professional and deeply compassionate, and I always left our sessions feeling heard, validated, and empowered to cope with the difficulties I was facing. As a therapist, I truly value working with someone who shows understanding, patience, and a strong commitment to their clients' well-being. Meg embodies all of these qualities, and I am incredibly grateful for the support she provided me. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a therapist who genuinely cares.”

“As a licensed therapist myself and working in the field of mental health, Meg is my go-to referral when asked by friends and family for a good therapist to see. She's truly the best I know and I would send myself if I could LOL. She has a way of making you feel safe, welcomed, and supported without all of the cheesy counseling cliché's. I have referred children, teens, and adults and have never had one person say they were disappointed. Parents of the children she sees rave about her feedback and pointers for them as well. Hands down the best in our area!”

“As a professional in the mental health field, I have known many therapists across the state of Mississippi. Meg is one of the best out there. Her passion is providing others with the assistance they need to live a happier, fulfilling life and each and every patient matters deeply to her. I have referred many people to Meg and all have been very well pleased. Thank you, Meg, for all you do!”

“I wish I could comment on the quality of the counselor, but unfortunately I could not even get an appointment. The receptionist is extremely hard to get a hold of- I had to constantly leave messages and not once did they answer the phone when I called. I have military insurance which works a little differently than regular insurance since there is no “network” and all you need is a referral approval for them to cover the costs. This receptionist would not even look at my referral letter (which was approved for 40 visits!) and refused to talk to my insurance to confirm- she just kept telling me they’re not “in network”. I politely tried to explain that it’s a little different and asked if I could just email the referral so she could look at it, and not only did she refuse to allow that, but was quite rude about it. I get the impression she is not familiar with that insurance, but you would think living in a military base town I can’t be the first person to ask for that, and there was no reason to be snippy with me about it. It seems like a very disorganized and scattered operation, but maybe the therapy is wonderful. It is just such a shame that a therapist’s office of all people were so hard to work with!”
