What patients say on Google
“Unprofessional staff and terrible patient care. My friend was turned away while feeling very sick, ultimately ending up in the hospital. The office staff refused to coordinate with the hospital doctors, telling a social worker they were "too busy" to take calls. After being discharged, my friend arrived for a scheduled appointment only to find out the office had given it away to someone else. They have also been completely uncooperative in providing required paperwork for my friend's employer. Zero stars for communication and empathy.”
“Subject: Formal Inquiry Regarding February 12 Appointment and Administrative Conduct I am writing to formally document an issue that occurred on February 12 in relation to my scheduled telehealth appointment at 3:20 PM. I logged into the session at the scheduled time and waited for the provider for approximately 20 minutes. During that period, I did not receive any notification regarding delay or rescheduling. At 4:00 PM (40 minutes after the scheduled start time), I received a new link for connection. At that point, I was no longer available to attend the session. Subsequently, I was contacted by a front desk staff member and informed that the appointment had been marked as missed. I clarified that I had logged in on time and waited for the provider; however, I was again informed that the appointment was considered a no-show. I would also like to note that the tone of communication during the phone call was abrupt and interruptive. Given the nature of psychiatric services, professional and respectful communication from administrative staff is particularly important. Accordingly, I respectfully request: 1. A review of the circumstances surrounding this appointment. 2. That this appointment not be classified as a no-show. 3. Clarification regarding the clinic’s policy on provider delays for telehealth visits. 4. Assurance of professional and appropriate communication from administrative staff.”
“The receptionists are very nice. The whole office and other areas are clean. They will see you at the time your appointment was scheduled. Make sure you call in advance though and that is why they are well organized with their appointments. Washrooms are very clean. NP David Johnson is great. He really is very nice and makes you feel comfortable. Tiffany Lawson too. Jasmine at the front desk is a sweetheart and her co-worker.”
“This clinic has several locations. The location on East 17th Street is excellent, the reception staff are polite, always helpful, and willing to explain things. The doctors are also very responsive and professional. Unfortunately, the location on Brighton was a complete disappointment. In a psychiatric clinic, where people with mental disorders in particular seek treatment, there is no place for rude people who treat you like trash. The woman who works at the reception desk and answers the phone has no idea how to communicate with people. She should not be allowed to work with people with such an attitude. She did not listen, interrupted several times, did not give me a chance to explain the situation properly, and ended up being rude. Please pay attention to this.”
