What patients say on Google

“They fired my therapist who I liked and trusted a lot and I’m sure many of his other clients did as well. He was the one to reach out and tell me, not anybody still employed at the practice. They never reached out to tell me and offer to set me up with another therapist. I hope they had an exceptionally good reason for letting him go because now I have to find another therapist and start the process all over again. Very disappointing.”

“I'm going to explain this to the people with bad reviews because I could've provided a one star but I haven't. the best way to explain it, you need to be picky with your therapist. I went through 2 of them here until I found one that worked with me. When people think of therapy they think "oh you just go and blah blah blah." No, just like shopping for a car you need to be picky and learn when to say, "yeah this therapist doesn't work for me." And that is what I did until I found the right one that fit. I see people saying "well my child regressed." Change the therapist reporting it to the staff will not change that therapist's style. also, as someone who studied psychology, when children become worse it's because they're forced to face things they don't want to do and they shut down. There is only so much a therapist can do, because therapy starts at home with mom and dad sitting down and opening a doorway, sometimes it's not individual therapy that's needed it's family therapy. That aside, I have Burgess now and he has absolutely phenomenal and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I have his personal number if I have any issues I can message him and I have. One day I had a freak out and messaged him at 9pm at night and he immediately scheduled me next day on a Sunday. He's attentive, he listens, he provides realistic feedback, and he understands I know myself too well and am self aware. The last therapist I had were all in for the "tea" and weren't helpful at all and the other one was decent but we didn't click. This place is solid, it's just people don't understand that each therapist has a different style.”

“I’m deeply concerned about the recent experience my daughter and I had at Renew Hope and Healing Clinic. As a parent who has consistently supported her care and brought her to appointments, I was extremely disappointed by the way recent decisions were made—particularly the move to have her homeschooled without proper consultation. Since that decision and a related complaint, her condition has regressed, and she has withdrawn from therapy altogether. This is heartbreaking to witness and raises serious concerns about the clinic's priorities. It appears that liability concerns were placed above the well-being and mental health of a young person, which is, in my view, completely inappropriate. Families should be included in significant decisions affecting a child’s care, and at the very least, there should be open dialogue. That was not the case here. While I do not blame any one individual, the overall approach felt dismissive, poorly managed, and ultimately harmful. I’ve requested to escalate my concerns formally and hope the clinic leadership reflects on how such situations are handled in the future. Mental health support should be rooted in collaboration and compassion—not exclusion and defensiveness”
