“Now, I ain’t usually one to run to the doctor every time I get a hangnail. I’m the type of fella who believes most problems can be solved with a little grit, some duct tape, or a long walk in the woods. But recently, life decided to throw me a curveball that caught me squarely between the eyes. Out of nowhere, I got hit with a case of the jitters so bad I thought I was gonna vibrate right out of my boots. I ain’t talking about being a little nervous, folks. I’m talking about full-blown, crippling anxiety. It felt like I had a family of squirrels hosting a heavy metal concert inside my chest. It got so bad I ended up at the Emergency Room—twice—thinking the Good Lord was calling me home early. Turns out, my ticker was fine, but my wiring was fried. Being self-employed, this was a disaster. When you’re the boss, if the tractor don’t run, the fields don’t get plowed, and you don’t get paid. I couldn’t work, I couldn’t think, and I was about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. I knew I needed a mechanic for my mind, and that’s when I found Reliant Family Psychiatry in Grand Prairie. First off, walking in there didn’t feel like walking into a doctor’s office. The place is cleaner than my grandma’s kitchen on a Sunday morning—spic, span, and well-kept. The gals at the front desk are absolute gems. They’re helpful, on-point, and welcoming, quicker than a hiccup and sweeter than peach cobbler. They got me sorted out without a fuss, which is exactly what you need when you feel like you’re jumping out of your skin. Then I met Doc Beatrice Bii . Let me tell you, that woman is a miracle worker. She didn’t look at me like I was crazy; she looked at me like a human being who just needed a tune-up. She listened—really listened—and helped me figure out what was misfiring under the hood. She knew exactly what medications to prescribe to get the pressure down without turning me into a zombie. Thanks to Doc Bii, I was back to work super quick. I went from thinking the sky was falling to just dealing with the occasional cloudy day. I ain’t 100% finished yet—we’re still tightening a few bolts to get rid of the anxiety for good—but I’m back in the driver’s seat of my life. “First of all The office is always clean and neat and the office manager. Diana is as extraordinary. She’s extremely knowledgeable and kind care and giving person. I did have some issues in the beginning of my treatment with them like getting my medication on time. But Now I have no more problems with my medication be sending to the pharmacy on time. I also start treatment for depression that I’ve been battling for 22 year. I started Spravato treatment for my depression and it has done wonders for me since I started it. I wish I could get the full experience of Spravato because I have Transportation issues . But I’m very happy with one a week just wish I could do twice a week but transportation is issues for me because I don’t drive. My nurse practitioner doctor that see me also listen to my concerns and care about my health and well being. I love this clinic and it is one of the best one yet.
