How likely are you to recommend Regional Counseling Center?
What patients say on Google
“Horrible experience, don't waste your time. My therapist was awful, no real communication was made and I felt like all she did was type on her computer. She couldn't even remember important details about my life and had to ask me everytime. "Oh what happened with your mom again?" "She died, should I write you a reminder for next week, too?" They just go "blah blah blah treatment plan" and cling onto that computer like it's their life raft. The med doctor wasn't very warm either and seemed annoyed. They were supposed to set me up with mobile therapy services within a month and I was never ever contacted, even after multiple attempts of reaching out myself. Nobody is qualified at these places. They lack the true empathy, motivation, professionalism, and skills it takes to help others and shouldn't be in this field. It's sad that this is the only kind of "care" people on medicaid can receive.”
“In My experience of going to counseling there are a few key factors for a positive review. You should feel a vibe with your counselor and a trust which is hard to come by. I've found that vibe and trust with two counselors from regional counseling, one in Franklin named Nichole and one in oil city named Carrie. I've been blessed by having met them. Don't give up, you can change counselors if your not going to be honest with your current one. It's your life!!”
“I didn't have a good experience here. My therapist, Mike (he was the only positive to my experience), tried to get me help by recommending a neuropsyche eval, and that's when everything went to hell. The doctor was 40 minutes late to my appointment where it was moved to a zoom call, appeared to be falling asleep during my appointment, and didn't write me a referral for a neurologist after a month of repeatedly asking for it. I did raise my concerns to the director and nursing staff via in person and voicemail and I still never received my referral.”
“When I was in their Transitions program, I felt very comfortable with team and the schedule. Now I am in MPR and I am being taught positive ways to self regulate. I like that we meet weekly and focus on my goals. I am also receiving medication and it has basically changed my life. The staff is kind and respectful. They are easy to get along with and to communicate with.”
