What patients say on Google
“do not go there. this place is horrific and they need to be shut down. the staff treats their patients horribly. when i first arrived I was locked in an assessment room for 7 hours and they refused to let me use the bathroom and did not give me any food all day. The staff refused to give me my meds for three days and yelled at me multiple times when i asked even though i was very kind and understanding, they put my through horrible withdrawals and kept telling me to talk to a provider then the provider didnt help me at all. I got yelled at and directed to my room when i asked for water even though i need to drink with my meds. food was disgusting and the place was very dirty and smelled bad. it is freezing in there and they refused to let me wear a hoodie. we are there to get help and better ourselves and the staff treats us like dogs. everyone I was in there with had the same complaints as me about the same nurses i had issues with. they also lost a lot of my things including my belly piercing and all my bracelets and said there is nothing they can do. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED!!!!!!”
“My daughter was there and they informed me that they could only keep her seven days because of insurance. They said after the 7 days it cost about 18,000.00 a day. Released my daughter and gave her a referral and appointment to a place that had not been opened for several months , so didn’t check they just wrote something down. I have been calling risk management at the facility for over two weeks and I have yet to get a call back. I have left several messages with the therapist and she has yet to return my call. The facility needs to be shut down. Any where that is treating mental illness and has a rating of 2.1 is dangerous. Putting parents on medication and not caring if they can get into a provider to get refills. They gave my daughter two weeks worth medication. She can’t get to see someone for a refill until June 1. I am going to do all l can to make sure that this place true colors are shown. People with mental illnesses are human beings and they needed to be treated like humans.”
“I was a patient here. It wasn’t that bad. Allison was the only one that made me upset and Abby. This isn’t a bad place, but the members need to learn how to get a little more Care in their hearts. I loved Tiya T and Micheal P. Leilan - Anestha Therpaist. Caroline my Psychologist was understandably. The mental hospital in Butner NC was still better”
“If you have a choice, find somewhere else. The only good thing I can say about this place is that a lot of the staff are very kind, but there are a few nurses that absolutely should not be working with people in crisis. They lost my clothes for three days. They denied me medication that I desperately needed because "the doctor has to verify it first." You have to ask for everything at least twice before you get it, and when they tell you they'll take care of something, they won't. You have to push and push and push to get what you need. Don't bother asking for help from the patient advocate. You might get to see her several hours after you request to see her, and she'll tell you she'll help or talk to someone for you but she won't. Went through that twice. They are disorganized to the point it's dangerous. You'll be told something different about the same thing by literally every staff member you ask. You will not be a patient to cared for and helped here. You are a Medicaid payout and nothing more.”
