What patients say on Google

“I cannot recommend Radzom counseling due to their strict and unforgiving policies. However, Matt Wilkinson was terrific at helping me through the time I worked with him. I strongly recommend working with Matt, but not Radzom Counseling. Radzom Counseling has a very strict one time late cancellation policy. This means, if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you get a 1 time chance to do so, and the next time you do it, there will be a large fee involved. They do not bend or consider special circumstances with this policy. I woke up with bad COVID-19 symptoms the day before my appointment. I was 15 minutes into the 24 hours late cancellation period. I called and spoke with Liz. She was polite and professional. I struggled to explain my situation and why I must cancel my appointment. Liz cancelled my appointment and said that this would be my one time that I could cancel late and not be charged the fee for doing so. I tired to explain the best I could at the time that this seems unfair considering the circumstances. I have COVID-19 and Upper Motor Neuron Disease which makes speech very difficult already. Liz acknowledged my concern and persisted that this would be my one time late cancellation without a fee. I informed Liz that I’d no longer be doing business with Radzom Counseling, and she acknowledged that too. I understand there must be a policy to regulate cancellations but there must be an individual review process. Radzom Counseling admin staff are unwilling to work with their customers with specific circumstances. If you must do business with Radzom Counseling, please do so that you can get the help you need. But I suggest you look elsewhere, when you can, because there are better places to do business with and get the help you need.”

“Review of Policies at Radzom Counseling LLC While I value the quality of care and support provided by Radzom Counseling LLC, I have significant concerns regarding their cancellation and billing policies, particularly around unexpected health issues, emergencies, and billing follow-ups. The current cancellation policy does not consider unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or emergencies, which are beyond a client’s control. This lack of flexibility places an unfair burden on clients who may already be managing high levels of stress and anxiety. In a therapeutic setting, flexibility around health concerns is essential, as individuals may not always be well enough to attend a session or even cancel within the required time frame. I strongly encourage Radzom Counseling LLC to revise their cancellation policy to include provisions for health-related cancellations, which would better reflect the compassionate care they aim to provide. Additionally, their billing policy around missed payments feels unwelcoming and rigid. If a payment issue arises—such as a missed payment due to a compromised card—they do not follow up to resolve the payment but instead cancel future appointments outright. As someone who experienced card fraud, I found this approach concerning; rather than offering a grace period for clients to provide new payment information, they simply cancel appointments. This policy adds an unnecessary layer of stress, particularly for clients seeking mental health support. Unfortunately, I signed these terms and conditions initially, believing I would be supported in my mental health journey. However, these policies risk increasing anxiety or distress should an unexpected situation occur. I hope Radzom Counseling LLC will consider revising these policies to create a more client-centered, empathetic approach that truly supports those seeking help.”

“If I could rate just the therapist who I saw, I would rate 5 out of 5 stars. I am giving the rating of 1 because of Brian Radzom's billing policy. I had a card on file from when I made my first appointment. At 1 AM, their system billed my card and the transaction declined. The following morning, Brian Radzom emailed me stating that all of my future appointments had been cancelled due to non-payment. A normal billing policy in my experience has been to AT LEAST call the patient and ask for a secondary form of payment. It definitely gives the impression that this business is operating for the profit and not for the well-being and mental health of their patients. Although I really liked my therapist, I will not return.”

“I have been seeing my therapist Joe at Radzom Counseling for several months now and he's absolutely wonderful and amazing. He's very caring, super comfortable to talk to and includes my input when building action plans. Like a lot of us out there life doesn't always make sense and can feel harder than it should. Joe is teaching me how to make my days better and how to find strength where I didn't think there was any. I would definitely recommend him or any of the other therapists to anyone needing guidance, help or counseling.”
