“Have tried several different psychs in the past and have had good and bad experiences but have had an absolute great experience at Pure Psychiatry. Appointments are made quickly, they work around your schedule, very accommodating and the doctor actually makes you feel heard as far as what is going on with you and what you have already tried and treats things individually without throwing too much at you at one time. “I WANT to give this place 5 stars based off services, providers, and availability. Based off personal experience, I cannot. I worked with 1 therapist for over 3 years. As my relationship had a lot of DV red flags and I couldn’t do sessions even in private she didn’t pick up on it. After legal problems, and active investigations, we disagreed. I asked for other therapists, I asked for more sessions with someone else, I knew it was going downhill. She said we haven’t made progress and my case is very complicated. I said that isn’t malpractice on my part but I can’t be dropped due to my legal cases I need the help. She recommended me to go to the hospital and dropped me as a patient, from the ENTIRE CLINIC! During the MOST DIFFICULT, tumultuous times in my life, losing so many kids, and having severe post partum depression, while I have an open case, and cannot get mental health help without losing my children legally, Pure Psychiatry completely ditched me. I was accepting that decision, until my son’s father who is the culprit of these legal problems, KEEPS GETTING MAIL FROM PURE AT MY HOUSE! He is a client there as well so they should have updated his address given the situation AT ANYTIME WITHIN THE PAST 7 MONTHS. I’ve begged for a supervisor to call me back regarding this for over a month. The overwhelming silence has led to this 1 star review. I deserved to be heard and given a second chance given my circumstances. If you need services immediately, if you can commit to once a week telehealth I promise this place is fantastic and I still recommend it personally to friends if they can’t find therapy, but my experience at the worst time of my life is complete trash, and it’s not worth the effort to hire a lawyer to sue the individual therapist and then the company. I’d rather just warn everyone that they will drop you no problem if you’re even in a malpractice lawsuit. Do not ever say the word in a session or you’re screwed.”
