How likely are you to recommend Pure Psychiatry of Michigan?
“I currently receive care at Pure Psychiatry of Michigan, and I’ve had a really positive experience. The team is attentive, responsive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Anytime something comes up, it’s handled quickly and professionally, which I really appreciate. Emily has been amazing, she’s kind, easy to talk to, and always makes sure I feel heard and supported. I would definitely recommend her and this practice to anyone looking for quality mental health care.”
“I go to the Ann Arbor office. Healthcare providers are great. The office staff sucks. They’re rude, they have an attitude, and they can’t learn how to be professional to save their life. I was there, booking an appointment, and the other staff member at the front desk was loudly chewing on chips. Why couldn’t she go in the break room and eat her lunch? Also, I was insulted when I asked about a $10 fee that I did not authorize. The rep I talked to said “well, it’s just $10.” It may be “just $10” to her but to many of us who are struggling to pay our bills, $10 means a lot. That was incredibly rude, insulting, and made me feel embarrassed because I have to wait until my next payday to pay for it. They want $10 for a simple doctor’s note for my employer. They never asked to charge my account. They just went ahead and did it anyway, without my consent. My healthcare provider never mentioned a fee or asked if it was okay with me. If I knew about this fee, I would have gone to my primary care doctor and they’d do it for no charge. This put a bad taste in my mouth and if my healthcare provider with Pure wasn’t as good as she is, I’d switch providers. I now see why my previous psychiatrist quit and left for another clinic…”
“I meet with them for almost a year. My experience was not a good one. The last meeting was done over the phone. The PA argued with me and HE HUNG UP on me. Completely unprofessional. I called the next day to make another appt with another PA and they say they are no long accepting me as a patient. Not wow, maybe this PA and you didn’t work well together. Maybe we should try another PA and see if it’s a better fit. He acted like a child and hung up. Then they didnt call me to apologise, nor ask me my side of the story. They continued acting like children and said they are no longer taking me as a patient. I should have called the state on them, but I am trying to work on myself and not concern myself on things I can’t control. Bottom line is I think you deserve better! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.”
