“It was our first visit. The appointment was easy to schedule (which is a stark difference from when I tried to schedule with Elemental last year). Office staff were pleasant. Office was clean and welcoming. No long wait to be seen. The NP (Tamika Tucker) was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and provided excellent patient education. She offered clear steps for follow up. I am looking forward to partnering with them for my son’s mental health care.”

“Dr Martins is by far the best psychiatrist that I have had the honor of being a patient of. His knowledge of mental health and medicine in general is beyond impressive. Dr spends the time needed to explain his thoughts/decisions/plan of care with you; also confirming that you (the patient) and himself come to an agreement with each other! Also, while actively setting goals and/or “homework”, Dr Martins also makes it a priority to make you as the patient feel comfortable, and also because he is extremely funny – he adds some humor throughout your appointment, which I find extremely beneficial yet brilliant mainly because naturally, talking to your psychiatrist or anyone for that matter regarding mental health issues/diagnoses can be very challenging and bring on a mixture of emotions-so experiencing Dr Martins techniques of his patient care and laughing for a minute or two about something silly helps more than one could ever imagine. “This office is ridiculous when it comes to trying to talk to a real person for anything other than making an appointment. The prompts only let you leave a message. It says to press star to talk to an operator. That option doesn't work. I saw the nurse practioner on Tuesday and my medications were supposed to be sent to CVS. One went through and the other one didn't. I have called 4 days in a row and left 3 messages to get my medication, my antidepressant, which I very much need. CVS has also reached out to the office but they haven't responded. I still don't have my medications. I do not recommend this office. I've never had a doctor that I can't leave a message with.”
