How likely are you to recommend Psychological Health Care of South Louisiana?
What patients say on Google
“My daughter’s counselor, Kelly, is great. However, I feel the only thing they care about is money and not patient care. My daughter had a minor procedure which turned into a major procedure the day before her scheduled appointment. I called them immediately to reschedule (22 hours notice) and they told me I had to pay a $75 cancellation fee for not calling 24 hours in advance. I’m very disappointed in the blatant lack of concern for my daughter.”
“Great people but beware of being late. If you are 15 or more minutes they will make you pay which is pretty standard. I give 3 stars because they send a reminder text a few days in advance but they dont call to check and see whats going on if you’re late. Some places do that and some dont. I prefer the places that do. If they had called me on a recent appointment it would have saved me $50 as I was late but could have instantly got on video chat. Just got distracted around the appointment time.”
“Never use these people. They only want money. 1,500 dollars to test for autism! That is with private Insurence, not to mention he already has a autism diagnosis for years. Ohh and 190 dollars for the co-pay to sit with a smug psychiatrist who turns out is really only a psychologist, and have him belittled me for not being able to spout out the possible side effects, of his Meds, off the top of my head.. And I'm a nurse. And did absolutely nothing for him except compile a group of tests that he needs, that would cost lots and lots of money! This is exactly what is wrong with the medical field. Money is all that matters. Never mind I have already spent 300 dollars in copays at this office, and have no kind of intelligent input. I feel so taken advantage of. Capitalizing on a child having a mental illness is just disgusting. I have never paid more than 90 dollars for a co-pay with a board certified psychiatrist. With the same Insurence, these people charged 115 copay for a therapist and 190 for a psychologist. Just wow!!”
“I would never suggest going here. My counselor was belittling and full of empty promises.”
