How likely are you to recommend Psychological Counseling & Consulting Service?
What patients say on Google
“Terrible! Do not even waste your time. I called four times and waited over 4 weeks with NO call back. Could not even make an appointment. Continued to tell me they would call me back to schedule and still have not. Women who answered phone is down right rude. They clearly do not need the business so do not even bother calling or trying.”
“Man, I wish I would have looked at the reviews before making a second appointment. Gloria has no business being a therapist. I didn't make it more than 15 minutes into my second appointment because she kept insinuating that I was lying about something. She kept saying that I needed medication and coping techniques, it was the only course for treatment, even though I expressly told her repeatedly the first visit that I didn't want to take medication. She definitely needs fired and her license revoked. What kind of person pushes drugs on people that don't want them?”
“What else can be said about Gloria Schweitzer that hasn't already been said on other reviews here? I made it through 5 sessions and in 2 of those sessions the focus was on why I wouldn't get approved for disability benefits. She is a very negative therapist and I have spent time with at least 6 of them over the years. She loves to play devils advocate and I got the impression she doesn't care for men too much. There is no compassion in her and like the others, I often felt worse after a session instead of feeling better or feeling like we made any progress. She was very unprofessional in talking about s.s. disability so much rather than digging into the roots of my mental health. She just isn't very good at her profession, a "hack" in the field.”
“As a mental health agency, clients should not leave feeling worse. Gloria is NOT a counselor anyone should ever see. I did telehealth with her for anxiety and depression. She diagnosed me as an alcoholic because I drank a couple nights a week. We rarely discussed MY issues. We talked about her insurance problems, her cats and how she lost weight. This woman needs fired or strictly placed in a drug/alcohol setting. I stopped answering her phone calls when I felt worse after our appointment. To the administration…apparently many reviews are given about Gloria and the harm she is causing. DO SOMETHING.”
