What patients say on Google

“The woman behind the front desk it’s not professional at all. She is very rude and inconsiderate. I was referred to Dr Rebecca Jones from a friend and was looking forward to meeting her. after dealing with the lady at the front desk, I had to cancel my appointment and get my money back for the visit I have not even had. She did not inform me of everything I needed for my first visit until after I filled out all my paperwork, paid for my visit and returned home. Then she called to tell me what else I would need to do prior to my first appointment.”

“PLEASE. Listen to this review. This is an honest review from a patient of this office. I want to inform people who are looking for mental health help. Do not come to this practice. I'm not writing this review because I am upset. I'm wanting to help people avoid frustration and possibly loss of hope. Mental illness is a serious matter and people with it need help. Unfortunately this Office does not care about its patients. They will absolutely expect you to wait 1 to 2 hrs after your appointment time. If you don't wait they will charge you. The front office is just not suited to greet people in a friendly manner. They don't even smile. I know that sometimes you can read reviews of a place and think oh I may try this place regardless. Please don't do that here. You will not get the help you need and will waste your time. You will most likely walk away feeling worse about yourself.”

“Its absurd that this practice doesnt allow you to switch doctors if your doctor isnt a good fit for you an your needs. If you're struggling with anxiety/depression, it might be worth getting a blood panel done to see if you might be low on vitamin D, iron, etc. All of these can contribute to issues with your mental health.”
Joy
“Check in is always smooth and quick. I never have to wait very long for my appointment. The office has a very comfortable, cozy, and professional look, and they have refreshments and a TV for those who do have to wait. I've only ever had pleasant interactions with the front desk staff, and Dr. Sugg is so kind, considerate, and understanding. I don't understand why so many reviews are hounding this place. Psychiatry South is great!”
