How likely are you to recommend Psychiatric Professionals of Georgia, powered by Geode Health?
What patients say on Google
“I highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable therapist. From the very beginning, she has created a welcoming and supportive environment where I feel comfortable being open and honest. Jessica is an excellent listener, provides thoughtful guidance, and truly cares about her clients' growth and well-being. She is professional, attentive, and has helped me navigate challenging situations with clarity and confidence. I always look forward to our sessions because I know I will leave feeling heard, supported, and equipped with valuable tools to move forward. Her dedication and genuine care make a meaningful difference, and I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact she has had on my life. Thank you, Jessica, for all that you do!”
“Sending someone to a debt collector over one missed psychiatric appointment is absolutely pathetic. I understand having a cancellation/no-show policy and charging a fee, but escalating a missed appointment to collections is on another level. This is a psychiatric practice—an organization whose entire business revolves around caring for people’s mental health. You would expect at least some degree of humanity and reasonable judgment in how they deal with patients. Instead, my experience left me feeling like collecting a fee mattered more than the person they were supposedly there to care for. I would never return to this practice and would not recommend it to anyone looking for compassionate psychiatric care.”
“Watch out for unexpected charges on your credit card from this practice. My daughter goes to this practice for her ADHD. My credit card was charged in June, 2026 for $465, without any explanation or message from the practice. The charge also stated it was from their Alpharetta location. My daughter goes to the Swanee location. It took me 1 and 1/2 hours to get an explanation from the billing department that the charge was due to an expired patient agreement form that needs to be renewed so they can bill my insurance. I was never given a renewal form (last appointment was at the end of May, a little over one year since she had first been seen by the practice). I had to sign the form on the phone and eventually they will credit my charge card. Luckily, I typically look at my bills in detail, but sometimes I am too busy.”
“My daughter found Geode after I had what they called a “cognitive event,” and after being cleared by neurology. I’d never been to a psychiatrist before, some therapy over the years but not a specialist like that. I’m in my late 60s and after a lot of testing and making medication changes from earlier prescriptions, I think she’s on to something that has been undiagnosed for 67 years. In the past, I could not afford the therapy charges from other places. Geode takes Medicare and what used to be $175 an hour is now $40 and the quality of the clinicians is great. Other than the fact that they bombard you with reminders, I can’t say enough about PPG.”
