“Mary Betsy Gamlin at PBS is a Nurse Practicioner at the Algonquin and Inverness offices providing psychiatric services and medication management. I've had my fair share of psychiatrists and Betsy is hands down the best in the business. She does her homework, she takes her time with you, and she genuinely cares for you and your well being. I was having medication induced seizures thanks to a psychiatrist who shouldn't be practicing and Betsy safely weaned me off the unnecessary medications and kept me on what she felt was absolutely needed. Since being diagnosed with my condition I have never been so stable thanks to her. She talks to me like a human being and actually listens. She's been wonderful enough to allow my support to come into my appointments to meet her and they were absolutely thrilled as professionals themselves and we need more providers like Betsy. She is not what they call a "pill pusher" and works WITH you to see what the best course of treatment would be for you. She's honest and if there's a question she can't answer she consults with one of her colleagues and resolves the situation. I honestly trust her with my life and I can't say that lightly. I highly recommend Betsy if you're looking for a psychiatrist and someone to talk to. She'll change your world!”
