What patients say on Google

“Im so thankful I found this office when i did. Ms. Dena Peery is one of the best nurse practitioners around and provides a thorough mental and physical assessment each visit. It is important to me to have a provider that focuses on best practices but also can give grace and truly listen. The office staff is sweet and very accommodating whenever I need it over the phone or patient portal. Bonus points for covering tricare :)”

“UPDATE: This owner is now claiming I am not being truthful about my experience and they offered me the option to reschedule without the fee. This is a LIE and if they review their calls, they would see this is not true. They have now locked me out of my account and I have no way to remove my credit card or contact my therapist that I am actively working with. I have an appointment with her next week and I can't even connect her about it. This practice is extremely unethical and given my experience within the mental health community, I am forced to take this matter to the licensing board as I feel its true ethical concern that should be handled according to state law. This practice is a true disappointment on the psychiatry side. First off, I called today to cancel my appointment because I woke up deathly ill. They told me they were going to charge me for the entire appt because I didn’t give notice. How the hell am I supposed to be able to predict being this sick 24 hours in advance?! I have never had a practitioner charge me for a sick cancellation. They have zero remorse for their clients and clearly do not have the best interest of their clients health and well being in mind. It’s all about collecting payments. Oh and to top it all off, the psychiatrist instantly wanted to change my meds and push meds that I’ve never taken or needed. She also tried to restrict me having access to a medicine I’ve taken responsibly for over 10 years with zero issues. One appointment and she seemed to just know everything about me. To me, that’s pill pusher. Not a health care provider. Not returning.”

“Went there twice over a year and a half ago. I stopped going because they canceled my third appointment because they had an issue with the payment method and the only attempt they made to contact me was one singular phone call in the middle of the weekday the week before, which I missed. No big loss because the therapist kinda sucked and just weirded me out. Fast forward to about two months ago. I received a bill! Again, OVER A YEAR AND A HALF LATER, charging me for, what? The appointment THEY cancelled? The appointment before? Who knows, but because I legitimately couldn’t remember whether or not I owed it I payed it. Today, i just received another bill! Suddenly, I magically owe more money. These people are a shady, money grabbing con operation, do not use them!!!!”

“My daughter has seen a provider here over videochat three times. The first appointment I was recommended a med and was told to turn in the paperwork and she'd send it if it was done quickly so the follow up would be about how she's adjusting to the med. Emailed like two days later nothing. Called. No answer and no callback. The next appointment the whole thing was kinda glossed over. She sent the medication in and it was denied. We called her and they said they'd work on it. We haven't even gotten an update. Called, left messages with no response. So my husband decided he was gonna go up there and talk to them in person. The office isn't even open if there are no appointments. This is a really awful way to treat patients and their families. I've already got her in to another provider for next week. Go to LifeStance instead. They are amazing and actually call back.”
