What patients say on Google

“I’ve been going here over a year and have had a great experience. I tend to be very busy, and they work around my schedule, when I communicate any changes with work or school. This place has helped me a lot more than any other place I’ve been to around Elizabeth City. The therapist I see is amazing, and has reached out to me personally to make sure everything is okay; you can tell they truly care about their clients.”
Jemina Riddick
“My daughters school referred us to them, after the first meeting they send us a bill stating that they don't accept Tricare. They didn't ask my wife beforehand about insurance or had her sign any documents, just sent us a bill and refused to cancel it. Basically to me this is a scam company, they should have sorted the insurance out ahead of time. The $170 bill was for a meeting that didn't even include any actual therapy, just an introduction.”

“I wish I could give 0 stars. I was on the waiting list for over 5 months. I finally got in, had 1 appointment. I have been cancelled on…on the day of therapy for the last three months! Every time it was cancelled, they set the new one for a month out. The day it comes up, they cancel and try to do it again. If you need consistent or reliable therapy, don’t chose this place.”
Bethany Bell
“I've been in outpatient and inpatient therapy for half my life and this place has some good therapists but it's hard to get scheduled to see them due to demand. They almost never answer the phones so trying to make appointments is very difficult especially if you're severely ill but not ill enough for inpatient psychiatric care. The Dr that prescribes medication that I saw doesn't seem to be well equipped to treat more severe illnesses, she didn't even know what I was talking about when I brought up ketamine infusions for treatment resistant mood disorders. Probably the second most disappointing outpatient psychiatric clinic I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot).”
