“My mental health journey has not been a pleasant one especially as of recently trying to get a letter of reccommendation to get an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). Just a letter stating that I was pursuing to get one. I was refused by two staff at this facility. One, my therapist, Zoe stated she doesn't do that type of paperwork, but believes everyone should have an ESA. (At the same time, my significant other was able obtain a letter of reccommendation without question from a different health provider.) I was also directed by Zoe to go to my primary health provider or Jenniverre to approve the ESA instead. When I did, my healthcare provider was confused because she doesn't deal with this and can lose her license for doing so. I believe Zoe should have known this. I went back to my psychiatrist, also based upon my health care provider, Jenniverre, to get the letter of reccommendation. Jenniverre stated she "needed evidence" that I was pursing the ESA even though that was part of the reason I was in her office. I have been going here for over 6 month. I had Brianna, who seemed to only do talk therapy. Zoe helped me with grounding techinques, but when I truly need something done, this place was unable to provide. I will be gladly moving out of state and this is the reason they gave for not doing the letter of reccomendation as well. All I needed was a reccommendation, that's all. They both said it was a good idea, but they refused to be of actual help and service. If you're looking for a great service, this is not your place to go.”
